By downloading or using the Lumen app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Lumen on your own devices, for your own personal use. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app, or use it in any way that violates applicable law or infringes anyone else’s rights.
Entertainment purposes only
Tarot readings and their AI-generated interpretations are provided for entertainment purposes only. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and they don’t replace professional guidance. Any decision you make based on a reading is entirely your own responsibility.
AI-generated content
Interpretations are generated by a language model. They can be inaccurate, generic, or unexpected — treat them as a prompt for reflection, not a source of fact. Don’t include sensitive personal information (health details, financial account numbers, government ID numbers, and similar) in the questions you type, since that text is processed by third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
Your content
Your journal entries and reading questions remain yours. We process them only to provide the service to you — to generate your readings and to store your journal — as described in the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions
Lumen offers a free tier (three AI-generated readings per day) and a paid Premium subscription that removes that daily limit.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.
- Cancel anytime through the App Store or Google Play — we don’t have a way to cancel it for you, since we never handle the payment directly.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies.
- If we change subscription pricing, we’ll give you notice before it takes effect for your next renewal.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Lumen is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, <LEGAL_ENTITY> is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll update the effective date above when we do; continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Additional terms for App Store users
If you downloaded Lumen from Apple’s App Store, this section also applies:
- This agreement is between you and <LEGAL_ENTITY> only, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
- Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to address any claims you have relating to it.
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of this agreement and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce it against you.
